The Ohaus Lysis Tube 2ml - Box of 100 provides a convenient, ready-to-use solution for consistent sample homogenization and cell disruption. Each self-standing 2 ml tube contains pre-measured, molecular biology-grade grinding media, helping simplify sample preparation for a variety of laboratory workflows.
Designed for use with compatible homogenization equipment, these lysing bead tubes help effectively disrupt samples for DNA, RNA, and protein analysis, as well as cell lysing, PCR, and gene expression applications. They are suitable for samples from mammalian tissue, plants, soil, seeds, fungi, bacteria, viruses, and other cells.
The tubes and grinding media are DNase/RNase-free, making them suitable for sensitive molecular biology applications. They are compatible with high-throughput homogenizers such as the OHAUS Bead Genie and Cell Disruptor Genie.
