The Ohaus e-BH3 Bead Genie, 230V, SI-B106 AU is a compact yet powerful bead beater which provides efficient cell lysis, tissue homogenization, and sample preparation. Using an aggressive vertical mixing motion, it delivers reliable performance for demanding laboratory workflows.
Ideal for DNA/RNA extraction, protein extraction, microbial disruption, yeast and bacterial cell lysis, plant tissue grinding, and soil sample homogenization, the Bead Genie accommodates a variety of tube sizes with four interchangeable, tool-free tube holders. It supports 12 × 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes (vertical or horizontal), 6 × 5/15 mL tubes, and 3 × 20/50 mL tubes, offering excellent versatility.
Built with a durable coated aluminum housing and solid metal casting, the unit provides exceptional stability during operation. Additional features include a backlit LCD display, countdown timer, and compatibility with bead sizes from 0.1 mm to 5 mm (beads sold separately).
