Description
The Ohaus e-D2D Digital Disruptor Genie, 230V is a powerful mechanical cell disruption device for demanding laboratory applications. Ideal for glass bead procedures. It delivers high-speed agitation for efficient disruption of yeast cells, bacteria, tissue samples, and other challenging biological materials.
Designed for high-throughput workflows, it can process up to 12 microtubes (1.5 or 2.0 ml) with snap or screw caps. It is well suited for DNA/RNA extraction, protein extraction, microbial cell disruption, plant tissue grinding, bacterial and fungal cell lysis, soil sample processing, and pellet resuspension.
The digital model features an LED display, variable speed control, speed monitoring, countdown timer, and alarm for precise operation. Built with a durable zinc-cast housing, no-walking feet, and a universal microtube holder, it provides stable, hands-free performance. Compatible with cold rooms and incubators, the e-D2D is an excellent choice for research, molecular biology, and life science laboratories requiring reliable and consistent sample disruption.
