Description
This is a 50W rheostat that controls the current running through it using a slider mechanism. Slide rheostats are frequently used for education and in laboratory environments. Slide types are made of resistive wire wound on an insulating cylinder. A sliding contact is used to increase or minimize the resistance. Its resistance can be set from 0 to 50 ohms and it has a maximum current of 1 A.
