IEC Mutual Induction Coil

The IEC Mutual Induction apparatus is a strong and high-quality pair of coils with a removable iron core. The small coil has 420 turns of heavy wire and fits inside the larger coil of 1200 turns of fine wires. An iron core fits inside the smaller coil to make a complete set. The sizes are arranged such that the set of 3 items hold together when lifted as a set.

This mutual induction coil is ideal for the magnetic field and induction experiments. This is to demonstrate that the induced potential is generated either by the movement of a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, or by changing the current in a single soil.
