Description
This heat conductivity ring can be used to demonstrate the different heat conductivity of different metals. A small piece of wax is placed in the depression at the end of each strip, then the ring is heated from the center. The melting of the wax can then be observed to compare heat conductivity between each metal.
The 130mm round wooden ring includes four 125mm long strips of metal: brass, copper, aluminium, and steel.
Supplied with wax block.
