Description
The Generator AC/DC Hand Driven Motor is a versatile educational apparatus for demonstrating the principles of electrical generation and motor operation. The system features a 175 mm pulley wheel connected via belt to a 25 mm driven pulley. All mounted on a sturdy cast bracket for smooth manual operation. The driven shaft carries a two-arm armature within a permanent magnetic field. It includes both a split ring commutator and slip rings, enabling easy selection between AC and DC output.
Integrated switches allow users to choose AC/DC mode and load selection, while the unit is supplied connected to a lamp and DC motor for immediate demonstrations. Two 4 mm terminals provide flexible connection to external equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters.
Compact yet robust (approx. 340 × 230 × 280 mm), this hand-driven generator is an excellent teaching tool for practical electricity experiments.
