Description
The IEC Electromagnetic Induction apparatus features a single turn of heavy wire that rotates manually around a strong rod-shaped magnet. This motion cuts through the magnetic field, generating a small voltage detectable by a sensitive meter. It illustrates the basics of magnetic flux and conductor interaction.
It includes a unique “mystery” challenge for students and teachers. The low-impedance DC amplifier LB0071-001 is also available to amplify the small current to a readable level on a student mA bench meter.
