Description
The IEC Joule's Calorimeter features a 50x75mm DxH copper calorimeter cup equipped with a specialized "Joule's Insert." The insert includes a lid with a stirrer and two 4mm spin-free IEC terminals connected to conducting rods that support a 2-ohm resistance heating coil. This setup enables precise measurements of electrical energy required to heat a specific weight of water by a specific temperature.
Often paired with the Insulating Box & Lid (HL0830-001) for enhanced thermal insulation.
