Description
The IEC Bar Breaker Apparatus LPG demonstrates the powerful forces of expansion and contraction. A cast iron pin secures a steel bar in a cast iron frame. When heated by the gas burner in the base, the expanding bar bends the frame until the pin breaks with a loud snap. A new pin can be locked in place while the bar is hot. As it cools and contracts, the pin breaks again. Available in two models for natural gas or LPG.
Additional IEC Bar Breaker Rods are available for purchase separately.
