Description
This compact and durable IEC Hand Wind Motor/Generator can be manually operated using a wheel and belt. The belt easily removed for DC motor use. It works with a permanent "U" magnet or fits into the "U" core of the Hodson Induction kit, where a coil can be added to create a DC field. The adjustable field strength enables the study of motor or generator behavior.
Built for longevity, it features ball race bearings, a high-quality commutator, and sturdy sprung brushes. LEDs display output voltage and polarity, operating effectively with good torque at around 6V DC.
