Description
The 74LS221 is a Dual Monostable Multivibrator with nearly identical performance characteristics to 74LS121 devices. Each multivibrator has a negative transition-triggered input and a positive transition-triggered input, which can both be used as inhibit inputs.
The 74LS221 IC has a wide operating voltage range, a wide operating temperature range, and directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL configurations. The IC's output is always TTL, making it simple to interface with other TTL devices and microcontrollers.
