Description
The 74LS126 Tri-State Quad Buffer features four independent gates each of which performs a non-inverting buffer function. It has fast switching times and the operating temperature is up to 70°C. Standard TTL Switching Voltage.
The outputs have the 3-STATE feature:
- Enabled Mode - outputs have the low impedance characteristics of a standard LS output plus the ability to drive bus lines without the use of external resistors.
- Disabled Mode - output transistors are turned OFF presenting a high-impedance state to the bus line.
- Disable Time is shorter than Enable Time - to reduce the possibility of two outputs attempting to take a common bus to opposite logic levels.
