Description

The Octahedral PTFE Stirring Bar – 5.5 × 42 mm is delivers efficient and controlled magnetic stirring for a wide range of laboratory applications. Its unique octahedral shape creates increased turbulence at low stirring speeds. Thus making it ideal for mixing solutions where gentle yet effective agitation is required.

Similar to a pivot ring–type stirring bar, this design improves fluid movement and helps maintain consistent mixing without the need for high rotational speeds. This reduces splashing and minimises wear on equipment while still achieving reliable results.
