Description
The Ohaus SPX8200 Scout Portable Balance delivers high-capacity, portable precision with a weighing capacity of 8200g and 1g readability—perfect for industrial and general lab applications.
It supports multiple functions including weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, check weighing, totalization, and display hold. The backlit LCD ensures clear visibility of results.
Built with a sturdy ABS housing and stainless steel pan, the balance also features a weigh-below hook, transportation lock, manual calibration lock switch, security slot, adjustable leveling feet, and an illuminated level indicator. The stackable design saves bench space.
It operates via an included AC adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included), and supports optional communication interfaces such as RS232, USB Host/Device, Ethernet, or Bluetooth™. Equipped with a stability indicator, auto tare, auto shut-off, low battery alert, and overload protection, the SPX8200 offers dependable performance in any setting.
