Description
The Ohaus EX423/E Explorer Precision Balance offers precise weighing with a 420g capacity and 0.001g readability, ideal for demanding laboratory and industrial applications requiring external calibration.
Equipped with a 5.7" full-colour VGA touchscreen display featuring adjustable brightness, it ensures clear, intuitive operation for tasks such as weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, checkweighing, dynamic/animal weighing, formulation, density determination, and more.
Communication is seamless with built-in RS232 and USB ports, plus an optional second RS232 or Ethernet port (sold separately), supporting GLP/GMP data output with real-time clock functionality.
Built to last, the balance features a metal base, ABS housing, stainless steel pan, and a glass draftshield with top-mounted side doors and flip/sliding top door. Additional design highlights include an illuminated level indicator, security bracket, calibration lock, weigh-below hook, four touchless sensors, and an in-use cover for protection.
Advanced features include selectable environmental filters, auto tare, customizable span calibration points, software lockout, user-selectable communication and print settings, and project/user ID management. The EX423/E supports up to 14 languages and auto standby for efficient and user-friendly performance.
