Description
The IEC Free Fall Apparatus - Mechanical Release is a 1m vertical rail system for free-fall experiments using three balls of varying sizes and materials. The adjustable upper platform allows experiments at different heights.
An electronic timer (not included) connects to the upper and lower platforms. It starts when the metallic ball is released and stopping when it strikes the bottom platform. The release mechanism uses a strong cord to hold the ball in place until the pin is pulled. Compatible timers include the LB4057-001 (LCD), LB4064-101 (LED), or similar models. All necessary cables and plugs are included.
Note: The timer is not included in this model.
