Description
The IEC Dual Amplifier offers two independent amplifiers for different applications:
- Wide Band Amplifier: 10Hz to 10MHz AC, with a fixed gain of 100.
- Audio Frequency Amplifier: DC to 10kHz, selectable for DC or AC operation, with adjustable gain up to 500 across six steps.
Each amplifier is controlled via a front-panel switch, with the center position as OFF. An LED indicates the active amplifier and flashes when battery replacement is needed. Both amplifiers share a 9V power supply from 6x 'AA' batteries, accessible via the rear panel. A built-in loudspeaker, switchable from the front panel, is included for the audio amplifier. The wide-band amplifier operates with no additional controls.
