Description
The IEC Small Dissectible Transformer 12VAC 300+300+600T is a compact, low-voltage kit. It comes in a durable plastic case with a carry handle and foam inserts for secure storage.
This simplified version of the 'Hodson' Induction Kit (EM1973-001) includes a 'U' and 'I' core with coils for studying induction and transformers, operating safely at 12V AC. The kit also features iron bars for experiments on iron losses, eddy currents, and magnetism. It also includes strong Alnico bar magnets. While compatible with the 'Hodson' Kit experiment notes, some advanced experiments are not supported by this simplified version.
