Description
The IEC Magnetic Needle & Stand Assembly is a classic instrument used for many years. It features a 75mm magnetized needle balanced on a vertical pin in a simple stand. The needle is fitted with a brass socket, allowing it to rotate freely in the horizontal plane.
One end of the needle is marked to indicate the direction of magnetic north, representing the needle's south pole. When exposed to a weak magnetic field, the needle deflects from its resting position.
