Capstone is not an upgrade to existing software. This advanced software was built from the ground up to be the most powerful and flexible option available. It is also built to handle large data sets, high-speed sampling, and customized preferences to fit the needs of your lab. A simplified user interface is accessible for beginners, yet Capstone offers all the capabilities needed for even the most advanced users.

While it was designed in conjunction with the PASCO 850 Universal Interface, Capstone Software UI-5400 is completely compatible with all current PASCO Interfaces - and even older interfaces such as the Power Link and Science Workshop 750 or 500. Capstone is also compatible with the new line of wireless sensors, yet Windows OS may require the USB Bluetooth Adapter.

The hallmarks of Capstone are powerful features and outstanding flexibility. Create and customize lab pages quickly and easily by setting sample rates and tool palettes for each page individually. Sync your data collection with video or replay your data collection at slow, normal, or fast speed. Simple to use tables make it easy to rearrange and analyze data and the calibration wizard will aid in setting up experiments simply and accurately, while the Undo/Redo function makes it easy to try out new features.

PASCO's Capstone supersedes the previous award-winning physics software, DataStudio, with improved features and functionality. Current DataStudio users should give Capstone a try as it will allow you to open all your DataStudio files while providing you with new features and options.
