Description

This product is an IEC Teflon Hot Plate with Thermostat temperature control. A general laboratory hotplate with a 200 x 180mm high-temperature alloy PTFE (Teflon) coated top plate for even plate temperature. Covered with a PTFE (Teflon) coating to make the plate more hard-wearing and robust against chemicals. The thermostat temperature control provides continuous adjustment of plate temperature to a maximum of 320°C. It also holds the temperature to specific settings as selected by the control knob.

Teflon Hot Plate with Thermostat Control ideally suited for lower temperature work in the laboratory or melting solids at specific temperatures. The front panel features a mains switch and the heat control knob.

For higher temperature work like boiling/simmering liquids, a Simmerstat hotplate is a better option (IEC Hotplate with Simmerstat Control and PTFE Top) & (IEC Lab Hotplate with Simmerstat Control).
