Description
The IC 74125 Quadruple Bus Buffer features 3-State Outputs.
When enabled, it has the low impedance characteristics of a TTL output with additional drive capability at high logic levels. This is to permit driving heavily loaded bus lines without external pullup resistors.
When disabled, both output transistors are turned off, resulting in a high-impedance state on the bus, preventing the output from acting as a significant load or a driver.
The device outputs are disabled when G is high. The supply voltage for these devices is 5 V. Supplied in a DIP 14 plastic/epoxy package with tin/lead terminals.
