Description
TPX acrylic burettes with Teflon stopcock and graduations for chemistry experiments in science labs. You can use these acrylic burettes to dispense variable, measured amounts of a chemical solution.
The plug of the stopcock is PTFE (Teflon). This does not require any greasing because of its self-lubricating nature. The TPX acrylic body of the burette is unaffected by dilute Mineral Acids & Bases except for Hydrofluoric Acid and Ammonium Hydroxide. A pH range of 1 - 14 is ideal and you can use up to 5% w/w of Acids or 30% of Bases.
Note: Always clean the burette with a mild solution of soap or detergent. It is not suitable to use acid cleaning solutions and also wire handled brushes. You can take out the PTFE by squeezing and slipping off the o-ring.
