Description
The LA4265 is a monaural audio power amplifier IC for compact audio systems and electronic sound applications. Delivering a typical output power of 3.5W with a 16V supply and an 8Ω load at 10% total harmonic distortion (THD), it provides a practical solution for amplifying audio signals in compatible electronic devices.
Designed to minimise external component requirements, the LA4265 does not require an input capacitor or bootstrap capacitor, helping simplify circuit design and reduce component count. This makes it suitable for applications where straightforward implementation and efficient use of PCB space are important.
The amplifier also features a soft-clipping function designed to reduce abrupt clipping effects and help minimise harmonic disturbance to nearby radio reception.
