Description
The 74HC194 is a versatile integrated circuit (IC) designed as a 4 Bit Bi-Directional Shift Register. It is designed to incorporate virtually all of the features a system designer may want in a shift register; they feature parallel inputs, parallel outputs, right-shift and left-shift serial inputs, operating-mode-control inputs, and a direct overriding clear line.
With a remarkable high-speed capability of up to 25MHz, this component employs positive edge-triggered clocking. It is functionally equivalent to the CD74HC194E, MC74HC194N, and HD74HC194P ICs.
