Description
The 74HC4066 is a quad single pole, single throw analog switch. Each switch has two I/O terminals (nY and nZ), as well as an active HIGH enable input (nE). The analog switch is turned off when nE is LOW. Clamp diodes are used as inputs. This allows for the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages greater than VCC.
