Description
The 74HC245 is an Octal Tri-State Transceiver IC with output enable (OE) and send/receive (DIR) control for direction. A HIGH on OE triggers the outputs to become low-impedance OFF. Clamp diodes are used as inputs. This allows current-limiting resistors to be used to interface inputs to voltages greater than VCC.
