Description
The ICM7555N, a CMOS Timer I.C., offers improved performance across various parameters. It boasts a low supply current, operates over a wide supply voltage range, and features low THRESHOLD, TRIGGER, and RESET currents. Unlike its counterparts, it doesn't cause crowbarring of the supply current during output transitions, exhibits higher frequency performance, and doesn't necessitate decoupling CONTROL_VOLTAGE for stable operation.
A stable controller capable of producing accurate time delays or frequencies.

- Extremely low trigger, threshold, and reset currents: 20pA (typ)
- High-speed operation: 500kHz guaranteed

- Normal reset function; no crowbarring of supply during output transition
- Can be used with higher-impedance timing elements than the bipolar 555 for longer time constants
