Description
The ULN2004A IC is a powerful Darlington array with seven open collector pairs, featuring common emitters for high voltage and current applications. Each channel is rated at 500 mA and can handle peak currents up to 600 mA. It includes suppression diodes for inductive loads and features an input-output pin arrangement that simplifies the board layout.
These versatile devices are ideal for driving a wide range of loads. Including solenoids, relays, DC motors, LED displays, filament lamps, thermal printheads, and high-power buffers. They are in 16-pin plastic DIP packages with a copper leadframe, reducing thermal resistance for improved performance.
