Description
The Miniature Magnetic Reed Switch Contact is typically open but it closes when comes into contact with a magnet.
Contact operation:
Contacts are closed circuits when the magnet is alongside the switch. For hobbyist applications, the "normal" state is when the magnet is away from the switch. The switch is then triggered by the magnet and switch being brought together.
