14 Stage Ripple Carry Binary Counter and Oscillator.
The oscillator configuration allows the design of RC or crystal oscillator circuits. There is a RESET input that resets the counter to all O's states and disables the oscillator. The reset function is accomplished by a high level on the RESET line. Every counter stage is a master-slave flip-flop. On the negative transition of I (and 0), the counter's state advances one step in binary order. Every input and output is fully buffered. The Schmitt trigger action on the input pulse line allows for an infinite number of input pulse rise and fall times.
