1. Hardware Components: Self Tapper Screws

Generally used for securing wood, plastic, metal, and brick; self tapper or self-tapping screws make a great addition to your hardware kit. Paired with a screwdriver, you can fit any thread precisely.

This product is ideal for items that require regular maintenance. Plus, they work well when working with two different kinds of material being fastened together. Check out below our various sizes of self tapper screws.

2. Hardware Components: Clips - Alligator, Croc and IC Test

Spring-loaded clips, alligator clips connect wires to components on circuit boards, connector pins, or other terminals temporarily. Meanwhile, crocodile clips fasten an electrical cable to a battery or other component.

Also known as Semiconductor test equipment, the IC test provides electrical signals to a semiconductor device. It tests if the device works as specified in its design specifications. We have curated below our list of clip materials you can add to your hardware collection.

Alligator Clip Jumper Leads

Sets of 10 Jumper Leads (2 of each colour (black, red, white, yellow, green). Available in standard and heavy-duty.

Alligator Clips (Plug On)

• (Screw Connection) Alligator Clip (CL0020) – This alligator clip consists of nickel-plated steel with a screw connection. Compatible with all shrouded, unshrouded and retractable 0.16-inch banana plugs.
• Alligator Clip with 4mm Black Socket (CL0026B) – This black alligator clip is made of nickel-plated steel and accepts a 4mm plug. Its overall length is 51mm with a clamping limit of 15mm.
• Alligator Clip with 4mm Red Socket (CL0026R) – This red alligator clip is made of nickel-plated steel and accepts a 4mm plug. Its overall length is 51mm with a clamping limit of 15mm.

3. Hardware Components: Nuts, Bolts and Washers

With the use of a wrench tool, nuts are widely used for fastening machine and structural components. When paired with bolts, they join two or more components in one place.

Washers

Zinc plated washers in packs of 200

• Flat Washer 3mm (Pack of 200) (HA3115) – These flat washers have a 3mm inner diameter.
• Flat Washer 4mm (Pack of 200) (HA3215) – These flat washers have a 4mm inner diameter.
• S/proof Washer 3mm (Pack of 200) (HA3118) – These shake-proof washers have a 3mm inner diameter.
• S/proof Washer 4mm (Pack of 200) (HA3218) – These shake-proof washers have a 4mm inner diameter.

Nuts

Zinc plated hex nuts in packs of 200

• Hex Nut 3mm (Pack of 200) (HA3105) – 3mm inner diameter.
• Hex Nut 4mm (Pack of 200) (HA3205) – 4mm inner diameter.

Bolts

Zinc plated right handed thread bolts.

• R/H Bolt 3mm x 10mm (Pack of 200) (HA3145) – 3mm diameter and are 10mm in length.
• R/H Bolt 3mm x 15mm (Pack of 200) (HA3148) – 3mm diameter and are 15mm in length.

4. Hardware Components: Enclosure Boxes

Made from rigid plastic or metals, such as steel, stainless steel, or aluminium—electrical closures protect electrical/electronic components against hazardous, non-hazardous, and other environmental conditions.

• Economy 19″ Rack Case (CA0400) – A quality standard 19” rack case, measuring 480mm x 335mm x 133mm (LxWxH). Made from 3mm heavy gauge aluminium front panel with steel top and side panels.
• ABS Case Handheld Black (92x66x21mm) (CA00G517B) – Compact Handheld enclosure design for remote controls, RF equipment, test equipment, etc. This two-part construction has built-in PCB mounting standoffs. In addition, the ABS case includes a built-in battery compartment which suits 2 x AAA battery holder.

5. Hardware Components: Computer Essentials

Fans

Also known as a system fan, a case fan is located inside a computer which is attached to the front/back of its case. Fans help bring cool air into and blow hot air out of the case.
