PS-2600 PASCO Wireless Spectrometer - Beers Law

In this video, learn how to perform a Beers Law analysis of the concentration of a coloured solution. Done with the PASCO Wireless Spectrometer and Spectrometry software.

To do this we first:

• Calibrate and
• Select a wavelength for study.

Then we can establish the relationship between the absorbance and concentration for standard solutions. Then determine the concentration of an unknown.
