The IEC Magnetic Stirrer/Hot Plate Insulation Sheet is a 5mm thick glass compound (non-asbestos). It is positioned directly under the hot plate, above the first heat baffle.
This sheet helps retain heat by reducing downward radiant heat loss, enhancing thermal efficiency.
