Description
The IEC set of 3 double slits is used to demonstrate “Young’s Fringes”. It shows that light exhibits wave properties through diffraction at the edges of a slit. When used with monochromatic or laser light, the slits produce an interference pattern of alternating dark and bright bands on a screen due to the overlap of diffracted rays.
