Description
The IEC Temperature Controller (CH4240-101) connects to the edge of the IEC Water Bath to regulate the hot plate, ensuring a stable water temperature. This controller is sold separately from the water bath. You can position its thermostat element in the bath’s inner corner for submersion, even with small water volumes. The bath also doubles as a dry oven, playing a key role in IEC’s new Gas Chromatograph.
The Temperature Controller maintains a set temperature in both wet and dry modes. When used dry, the probe should rest against the bath’s inner wall to monitor the metal temperature and prevent overheating. Alternatively, the hot plate’s heat regulator can be manually adjusted for approximate temperature control. Although this provides less precision than the thermostat.
