Description
The ACRDR103 by Watchguard is a robust and vandal-resistant standalone IP65 Access Reader/Keypad. Crafted from zinc-alloy die-cast materials, this self-contained dual-level backlit access control reader/keypad is designed to directly operate electric door locks. It supports up to 1000 user codes and RFID cards/keyfobs, accommodating both fail-safe and fail-secure locks. The device allows for the combination of cards and codes for multi-level authentication, programmed visitor access, and customizable daily operational hours, including a programmable door lock striking timer for enhanced access control.
The ACRDR103 uses a durable solid-state switch to ensure an extended operational lifespan. Additionally, it includes a relay contact that can be utilized to activate an external low-power door chime. The device is equipped with a tamper switch and an unauthorized access lock, providing enhanced vandal protection.
The ACRDR103 has a bi-directional data I/O bus, enabling the use of up to 3 additional readers & split decoder.
The reader comes standard with 2 x 125KHz RFID cards.
Note: This reader is compatible with 125KHz RFID cards only (incompatible with 13.56MHz NFC cards).
