Description

The PICAXE-28X2 is renowned for it's power and capabilities. However, it is also suitable for hobbyists and educational use. What's more, the PICAXE-28X2 supports up to 22 inputs and outputs as well as 16 sensor channels. In addition, you can reach speeds up to 16MHz thanks to it's internal oscillator. Furthermore, you can use the 4 internal and 32 external program slots with the the 28X2.

In addition to all this, the PICAXE X2 allows you to configure i/0 pins, touch sensor inputs, ring tone music and has  up to 64MHz operation with i2c, spi and high-speed serial with background receive. Also, Scratchpad memory and data EEPROM are also supported. Most importantly, you can program your PICAXE from any operating system including the free PICAXE Programming Editor and Logicator for PICAXE flowcharting software.

The surface mount version of our very popular enhanced X2 PICAXE microcontroller. Favoured in hobbyist projects due to its powerful features and capabilities, but also suitable for more advanced educational use. This is the universal voltage version 28X2 chip (based on the PIC18F25K22).
