Description
The Epygi QXISDN4 Gateway functions similarly to its FXO version counterpart, however, it connects using ISDN ports. This particular gateway features four ISDN BRI connections that can be utilized for both phones and analog devices, which can connect to the central office of a telephone company or a local PBX.
By utilizing the Epygi QXISDN4, inbound lines can be added. Also outbound call volumes can be balanced from a combination of IP phones and analog devices. These lines can either be centrally located within the office or used as an extension cord to remote branches.
Each QXISDN4 is a standalone SIP gateway device, complete with a VPN router, firewall, HTTP server, and call processing software. The installation process is simple and requires minimal configuration. For instance, if a QX IP PBX is used, the new ISDN ports will be automatically presented within its management system.
