The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 8 Port model features Gigabit Ethernet ports in a compact form factor. The switches are fully manageable and provide reliable performance and intelligent switching for your networks.
Switching Performance
The UniFi Switch has the forwarding capability to process traffic on all ports at a line rate without packet loss simultaneously.
Non-Blocking Throughput
For its total, non-blocking throughput, each UniFi Switch supports up to 8 Gbps with a switching capacity of 16 Gbps.
8 Port Managed Gigabit Switches
You can power the US-8 by 802.3af/at PoE, 48V passive PoE, or the included power adapter. 48V passive PoE passthrough is supported on port 8. Port 8 can deliver up to 12W of power when powered by 802.3at PoE+, 48V passive PoE, or the included power adapter. (If the power source is 802.3af PoE, then the PoE output budget will be less than 12W). Perfect for cleanly adding Ethernet ports where needed, with passthrough to keep your PoE device powered.
Seamless Integration
A single instance of the UniFi Controller running in the cloud can manage multiple UniFi sites within a centralized interface. Each site is logically separate and also has its own network monitoring, configuration, maps, statistics, and admin accounts.
