The Phono Stereo Preamplifier gives the necessary frequency equalisation and increases the signal level fed to your line-level amplifier. There is a second set of inputs for a CD player or other unit. It has a front panel switch to select between input devices. Also features volume control to conform to the output level as needed since your turntable cartridge can have a lower or higher output than intended. Inputs and outputs are all RCA.
