Description
This 8x8 LED Dot Matrix with MAX7219 module is used for the display of symbols, simple graphics, and text. Made of super bright LEDs, they produce a low-resolution display and can be linked to produce a larger display. The MAX7219 are small serial input/output common-cathode display drivers that interface to microcontroller and microprocessors to control a 7-segment numeric LED display of up to 8 digits.
This module includes 5 wire fem-fem ribbon cable. These displays can be connected together to form a larger display without taking up extra pins on an Arduino.
