Ethernet Cables

Ethernet leads, also known as Ethernet cables or network cables, connect devices to a local area network (LAN) or the internet. These cables have standardized connectors on each end, which are called RJ45 connectors. They plug into a network interface card (NIC) or Ethernet port on a computer, router, or modem.

Category 5e, 6, and 6a are the most common with 5e supporting speeds up to 1 Gbps at 100 meters, 6 supporting up to 10 Gbps at 55 meters, and 6a supporting up to 10 Gbps at 100 meters.
