Description
The 74LS174 is a high-speed CMOS Hex D Type Flip/Flop with Clear. It features a sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology. It consists of six edge-triggered D flip-flops with individual D inputs and Q outputs. All flip-flops share the Clock (CP) and Master Reset (MR) functions.
Following the LOW to HIGH Clock (CP) transition, the state of each D input transfers to the corresponding flipflop's output. A LOW input to the Master Reset (MR) forces all outputs to be LOW regardless of Clock or Data inputs.
Useful for applications only requiring the true output and where the Clock and Master Reset are shared by all storage elements.
