Description
The 74LS166 is an 8-bit parallel-in/serial-out shift register. It has a complexity of 77 equivalent gates with gated clock inputs and an overriding clear input. The shift/load input determines whether the mode is parallel-in or serial-in.
The 74LS166 IC supports a wide range of working voltages and operating conditions, and it interfaces directly with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL. The IC's output is always in TTL, making it simple to interface with other TTL devices and microcontrollers.
