An integrated 'colour reference' oscillator circuit for PAL TV receivers. The oscillator employs a quatz crystal and incorporates automatic phase and amplitude control. A synchronous demodulator is used to compare the phase and amplitude of the swinging burst ripple with the PAL flip-flop waveform and generates appropriate ACC colour killer and identification signals. A high standard of noise immunity has been obtained by using synchronous demodulation.
