Description
The IC DS1488 is an advanced RAMified Real-Time Clock (RTC). It serves as an upward-compatible upgrade to the widely-used DS1285/DS1287 and DS1385/DS1387 RTCs for PC applications.
Building upon the fundamental features of the DS1285/DS1287 RTC, this upgraded version incorporates an additional 8K bytes of on-chip nonvolatile RAM. This enhancement further improves its capabilities, providing expanded storage capacity for critical data and settings. This it an excellent choice for modern PC applications.
