ARD2-INNOV8 Curriculum Support Material.

Seven has developed a wide variety of educational resources for use with the ARD2-INNOV8 shield, including a downloadable eBook titled ‘Coding Innov8ion’ aimed at primary school students.

This book teaches students to program Arduino using the INNOV8 board, featuring 10 lessons using Snap4Arduino, a visual programming environment that lets you create programs by dragging and dropping pre-made ‘code blocks’.

Jumper Connector Leads: 100mm and 300mm

We’ve added to our popular 200mm jumper leads with two new ranges: 100mm and 300mm lengths, with in male-male, fem-fem and male-fem terminations. They are great for connecting sensors and modules to your Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other microcontrollers. Jumper leads make it easy to connect and disconnect components without the hassle of soldering, making them ideal for experimenting and prototyping.

These leads come in 3 ‘strips’ of 40 so you can keep your connections neat and organised, or you can pull them apart to make individual jumpers.

Load Cell Sensors: 2kg, 10kg, 20kg

Adding to our existing range, these straight bar load cells (sometimes called a strain gauge) can translate up to 2kg, 10kg or 20kg of pressure (force) into an electrical signal. Each load cell is able to measure the electrical resistance that changes in response to, and proportional of, the strain (e.g. pressure or force) applied to the bar.

With this gauge you will be able to tell just how heavy an object is, if an object’s weight changes over time, or if you simply need to sense the presence of an object by measuring strain or load applied to a surface.
