The Company Background
Wiltronics Research Pty Ltd is an electronics company with interests including component importing and distribution, wholesaling and manufacturing.

The company is a family company established in 1974. The manufacturing division operates from a modern manufacturing facility in Ballarat Australia, 1hr20min from Melbourne's city center by freeway. Wiltronics has been established in Ballarat as a decentralized industry since 1981. The company obtained Quality Assurance Accreditation to the ISO 9001 Standard in 1996.

Wiltronics Research is a member of the Australian Industry, and Standards Australia.

• Through hole PCB assembly using computer aided manufacturing (CAM) equipment.
• Wave Soldering of PCB's.
• Proto type and low run surface mount PCB assemble using robotic and manual equipment.
• IR reflow soldering of SMD PCB's.

• Range of subcontractors providing sheet metal and plastic fabrication.
• Final assemble and packaging of finished products of finished products and sub assembles.

Collaborative design and manufacturing
We are pleased to work with manufactures to assist with the electronic component of their products. This is undertaken so as to provide us with ongoing contract manufacturing work.

License to manufacture and market
We are interested in entering into collaborative agreements with Universities, CSIRO, DSTO, Government Departments, etc. with the view of commercializing research and Development outcomes.

Contract Assembly
Wiltronics Manufacturing Division service a diverse range of customers from companies with Low Volume - High Technology Products, supplying niche Australian and world markets through to customers with High Volume - Low to Medium Technology Products, supplying both to local and export markets.

These customers supply products into the following market sectors:

We manufacture sub-assembles and complete products for these customers. Our broad range of manufacturing experience positions us well to meet the specific needs of our customers. We are currently looking to expand our customer base.
